Time Stands Still at historic farm retreat in Princeton, WV

Writer's picture: Jessie DayJessie Day

Princeton, West Virginia - Get away from the hustle and bustle of this crazy everyday life! Step back in time with a visit of this simple homestead, a 100-year old log cabin built from hand cut logs from his sawmill by one of the first settlers in Mercer County, West Virginia. Antiques in every room. Spectacular view in the Bluestone Valley, the farm sits by the Bluestone River and remains much the same as it did in the early 1900s. Enjoy peace and quiet in the valley, sip wine under the stars, listen to the night sounds of crickets and owls, watch the deer grazing in the pastures, use wifi if and when you feel like it. Experience country life as it was back in the day, a simpler time...awaiting your discovery! www.vrbo.com/1486365
